FAQ and Rewards Program

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items beyond the 30 days post ship date will not be exchanged or refunded even if communication between parties has been made. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

If an item is found to be defective, please email us upon receipt of said product. Our procedure is to replace with an intact product once the defective product is returned to us.  We will pay return shipping. Defective product must be mailed back within 30 days of its original receipt.  Items beyond the 30 days post ship date will not be exchanged or refunded even if communication between parties has been made. 

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.


We can ship wholesale orders to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. We are not shipping retail orders worldwide at this time. We will ship to Canada, however.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.


Wholesale Orders

Wholesale orders placed at shows have a 50% deposit taken. When order is ready to ship you will either be billed through Paypal or called for a credit card number. If we bill through Paypal  and/or call repetitively for card numbers for 60 days or longer, please be advised that 50% of your original deposit is non-refundable and your order may be cancelled.



How Does It Work?

Ever other month you'll receive a package in the mail that includes a hand-dyed colorway in Sock weight, a pattern of your choosing (either a pair of socks, a shawlette, hat & mitten combo or a baby item). These items, as well as being exclusive to the Tika Girl Yarn Club, are at 10% off retail price if you pre-pay your subscription for the full three months. You will also receive a coupon code good for 3% off EVERY purchase made from our website during your subscription period.  When you pre- pay for your subscription, you receive even more of a discount. 



How Much Does It Cost?

You have the options of paying for 1, 2 or 3 months at a time - with or without the EXCLUSIVE Tika Bag. The One Month Subscription is discounted 3% off retail pricing.  The Two Month Subscription is discounted 6% off retail pricing and the the Three Month Subscription is discounted a full 10% off our normal retail price.  That's a substantial savings for you! 

How Do I Pay?

When you sign up, you secure a spot for your first month's delivery - June 2017.   


When Will I Get My Subscription?

Look for your package to arrive 2-3 days after the 15th of shipping months ( June - August - October)


I Love Next Month's Yarn So Much I want to Order an Extra Skein...

You'll be receiving an email from us every other month with an option to add additional skeins to your order.


What if I've signed up to receive shawl patterns every month but I really love the next month's pair of socks?

You can switch your pattern choice as often as you'd like.  You can even order both.  Just shoot us an email at info@tikabags.com.


What if I want to split up my subscription - maybe I want to send one shipment to a friend? 

We can do that! Just email us at info @tikabags.com and we'll set up any kind of arrangement you want.


What if I want to cancel my subscription?

We'll miss you! If you decide that the club just isn't for you or it's no longer in your monthly budget, you can cancel at any time.  You will, however, be charged a $41.00 fee.
